In addition to its roles as Principal, Borrower and General Partner on various transactions, Texas Inter-Faith Housing Corporation provides third-party consulting in development, compliance and asset management.
Development services include market feasibility, negotiation, land acquisition, project acquisition, project financing, pre-development and owner representation during construction and lease-up as needed.
Asset Management services include direct representation on behalf of the owner or borrower on an existing project. Services, which can be provided on a temporary or ongoing basis, include:
- Controlling fixed costs such as property taxes, utilities and insurance
- Stabilizing operations and increasing net income
TIFHC provides staffing, consulting, asset management and compliance services to other non-profit owners and developers, including Oaklake Community Housing Development Corporation, Brompton Community Housing Development Corporation, 5th Ward CRC and Avenue CDC.
TIFHC Asset management services include strategic, both short and long-term, financial analysis that supports asset sustainability. Our asset management role is focused on owner representation in negotiations, management oversight and financial situations.
